I was born and raised in Caithness in the far North Highlands of Scotland. With over 20 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with photographing weddings which have been my favourite event to capture. I have been blessed to have photographed over 300 weddings and have been featured in numerous wedding magazines and online publications.
I am a qualified member of The Guild of Photographers and in 2015 I was in the top ten Wedding Photographer of the Year, in 2016 I was in the top five Wedding Photographer of the Year, as well as being a Wedding Image of the Year Finalist in 2015. I also achieved Associate level with The Societies of Photographers.
My style has developed over the years but I am best known for my unobtrusive and relaxed manner in which I take on. a wedding. I try to capture the day without interfering too much in what’s going on. I want to capture how it was and every detail that adds to the storytelling of the day.
